3a Reverse Assessment in Yorkshire

Since November 2021 the reversing element of the LGV driving test is taken separately to the on road assessment. Metcalfe’s Driver Training with its DVSA approved reversing centre, along with there DVSA accredited and approved assessors will ensure that you have the ability and knowledge to reverse with confidence and safety.

One to One Training.

The HGV Module 3a is a part of the UK Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) test that assesses a driver’s ability to perform a reverse and show that you can separate your wagon from your trailer (uncouple recouple). The reverse assessment specifically evaluates the candidate’s ability to reverse a large vehicle safely and accurately.
