CLASS 2 HGV (CAT C) Driver Training

What is a cat C licence?

A category C license allows drivers to drive vehicles over 3.5 tonnes, but must not exceed 32 tonnes. Category C license typically covers a vehicle with a cab and trailer fixed permanently together, also known as a Rigid Truck. Our HGV Class 2 Training will allow you to drive one.

HGV LGV Training Further Information

The nearest HGV LGV Training test centre to to you is at Steeton where learners from across West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire & Lancashire take their HGV LGV test. You will find us located conveniently between Skipton and Steeton. Your training course is with Metcalfe Driver Training and will take you on all the Steeton HGV / LGV test routes. We make things easy and convenient. This is why West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire & Lancashire-based HGV LGV learners book with us.

Getting to us

Courses start from our training facility at Skipton Auction Mart, BD23 1UD.

We’re no more than a 40 minute drive if you’re based in West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire & Lancashire. Alternatively, you can catch the train to Skipton and we’ll arrange pick-up to our dedicated training facility.

Alternative arrangements can be made when travelling to us for HGV / LGV training. Just ask Andy for more details and find out about our high pass rates.

We provide 7 days a week HGV LGV training for West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire & Lancashire customers; evenings and weekends are available by request.
